Slab poured - 08/07/2014
Hi !
On Tuesday 08/07/2014, our slab is poured and we are so very much excited. We went to see the site in the afternoon and it looks perfect to me. Previously me and my wife were not sure if the foundation was on right place as we thought we will have less space at the side of the house than what was on drawing but now we can see exact setbacks all the sides as per plan..very happy. We have not hired any inspector for slab or in that matter at all but now we are thinking to hire one for later stages. We asked for some quotes and got some reccommendations as well. We are waiting for the good offer. Frame should start in 2 days time as per site supervisor and roof should be installed in 1 month time. Stay tuned for photo albums..

Land Settled and construction commenced
Our land settled last month and construction has started last week. We are so excited now seeing all coming together. We are visiting the site almost 2-3 time a week.
This week they preparing the site for slab. They scrapped the site and removed some very large rocks and done some conrete peering as per engineering requirements. All plumbing also done. Hopefully by mid next week our slab will be poured and things will move quickly.
Stay tuned..

Land Settlement...Almost there.
We got email from our Conveyancer that our land settlement is soon and hoping to be done by mid next week. Very excited..
Its been some time since my last post. A bit recap, we signed final contract with Henley long ago. Went through lot of changes afterwards and still selecting our wet-area tiles as the one we selected is being discontinued.
Keeping finger crossed..hopefully construction start as early as possible once land settles over next week. Henley already done soil test and hoping to get all paperwork by 20th of this month.
I will keep you posted, i think action should start soon.
